Ipod stuck on the lockscreen

    im not a noob starting another "Help my ipod is bricked" topic.

    One day my ipod just wouldnt unlock. I type in my password and it makes the unlock sound and just goes back to the lock screen. I have rebooted and reset but i dont want to restore. any ideas without restoring?

    Put your ipod into DFU mode and run redsn0w 0.3

    same thing happened to me the other day and i searched for fixes with no success so i had to restore it and re-jb it again.

    i hope someone finds a fix, i don't want to go through the whole restore+jb process if this happens again.

    Try force resetting it. Hold home+power until the device shuts off and the apple logo appears then release. Might work.
