i got a new old computer and when i plugged my ipod in and itunes opened and itunes told me there was an update so without thinking i hit update. my ipod is running 3.0 and it was jailbroken with redsnow. my ipod was then stuck in recovery mode due to an itunes error (2003). i am not sure how i can get it out of recovery mode so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Plug your iPod into the computers and then press restore in iTunes.

If iTunes doesn't detect it go into DFU mode then restore.

Your jailbroken apps won't be saved. Your apps, songs, and videos should be in itunes.
