ipod stuck in dfu, computer cannot recognize

    ok so i made a video about my problem if i could get any help i would really appreciate it, because i just got my touch, and its been jailbroken for a few weeks, im running 3.1.2 on an 8gig, 1st gen touch, ... i restored my ipod because my computer didnt recongnize it and now my ipod is stuck on the apple screen and continuosly loads, i can get into the mode that says "connect to itunes"

    Okay well that's not DFU mode. Try putting it in DFU mode with the link in my signature. Also, terrible music if I do say so myself, sorry.

    ok wfu mode is when it tells me to connect, right??? lol at the music

    Yeah, plug it in and restore it. And the music.... I just don't like hard metal

    Oh great.... Try starting it up and putting it in DFU when it's already plugged in

    ok, i tried another ipod and the same thing happened, on a different computer, same usb cord... . . . do you think my cord could be causing my problem?

    Possibly, but I doubt it. I can't say what to try next....
