I was just changing the fonts using fontswap and it asked to restart springboard and now it's stuck at apple logo. I am still on 2.2.1 . Now do i go into DFU mode and then restore ?? Will it affect my data on iPod (Can i use restore from backup option here ??)

windows xp only. youll need to get quick-freedom from http://tinyurl.com/d2ebqg. after you download it you need to install lib-sub. quick-freedom will have a button to install it. after its installed you need to go through the pre-jailbreak process. its pretty easy but if you need help youtube has plenty of videos on it. after you pre-jailbreak restore your ipod using the original 2.2.1 firmware through itunes. it should be located in your local disk under program files,quick-freedom,files,xpwn. hope i helped

It's already jailbroken. I tried going into DFU mode and then restore. But now it's not even allowing me to use my custom firmware but instead downloading a new 2.2.1. How can i use my custom firmware now ??
