Ipod spinning circle error

    you cant fix it without a restore.

    This error cannot be fixed. The point in time when this error appears is between the two jailbreaks. Its not open to SSH and can't be interacted with on the screen. Restoring is the only option to fix this. It's not that bad if you go straight to 1.1.1, and not to 1.1.2

    It is possible to fix this error so long as you a) don't have it happen in between JailBreaks; and, b) have NOT rebooted the iPod and killed off WiFi.

    If both of the above conditions are met AND you have SSH turned on, you'll be fine. Else, you have but choice but restoration.

    It's the Spinning Wheel Of (literal) Death.

    It's caused when an application calls for another app that does not exist. That sends Springboard into an endless cycle of resprings. I've emailed Apple alerting them to the problem, and recommending they fix it for future firmware versions. I doubt they will do anything though.

    mine got spinning wheel problem,so I took it to iStore they replaced me a new unit
