How many of you out there use aftermarket headphones?

How do you feel the quality is beter than the standard headphones that come with your iPod? What other Headphone Accessories would be better than the standard earphones that are issued stock with the device?

Does it make the iTunes downloads sound more crisp?

    I really appreciate the info!

Apple headphones are mid-market standard. They're better than the run of the mill cheapo headphones of course and also some of the ~>$40-60 range but you'll get better quality with a decent pair of in-ear noise-canceling $80+ cans.

I personally have 2 pair , one is JVC and the second are the Skull Candy and I love both but I would pick the Skull Candy 1st over all.
