So, I've been looking into buying a skin from GadgetShieldz (but my parents think it's a scam and GadgetShieldz payed every single reviewer to say that they're good and real), but I've been wondering, How do you apply the back skin without getting solution in the mic?

Don't spray / put your solution directly on the iPod. But instead only spray / dip the solution with the skin. And when you apply the skin have a microfibre cloth ready to clean the iPod and when wiping away the excess solution so that it doesn't get into mic, speaker and headphone jack

as long as you only spray the protector, not the ipod. if water/solution gets into the ipod, dont worry, just don't turn it on. leave it to dry for a while. remember, water doesn't harm electronics, only the conductivity. if you douse your ipod in water and let it completely dry, it won't be harmed.

I doused my ipod once and it went back to normal. I can vouch for this.
(I'm not trying to be snarky, I put my ipod under running water.)
