iPod sent to Warranty | Status -> "iPod returned to customer"

    Hello

    I have a doubt and I didn't know if to post it in tech or over here..

    I have mi iPod Touch 16GB since about 10 months ago.. All was perfect; until the headphone jack started to get a false contact... I could only hear the right side...

    So I contacted Apple to have my warranty... The sent me a package with foam to put the iPod and I sent it to them...

    As soon I they received the ipod the status of the repair stayed in this message for like a week..

    "Step 3: iPod received in 09/10/2008 and being checked out"
    (Well.. I'm in México so it was in spanish as follows...:
    "Paso 3: iPod recibido en 09/10/2008 y en proceso de Revisión"

    and now after a week it says...:
    "Step 4: iPod returned to customer"
    Original : " Paso 4 - iPod retornado al cliente"

    Does anyone know what exactly does this mean..??

    The thing is that the iPod has a mini hit on the top.. so it was kind of scratched (a small pinch to the glass).. So I don't really know if the Warranty was still valid...

    So I don't really know if they repaired it and sent it back.. or just sent it back because of the small pinch

    Hopefully someone knows wtf..

    I had the problem where only one earplug worked too
    i just bought another pair (didnt like the apple ones too much anyways)
    fixed it all for me

    return warranty

    la mera verdad no sabria decrite amigo, esto me parece extraño, pero los hijos de perra de apple son demasiado mamones, solo tu espera que te lo hayan reparado que es lo correcto porq estas pidiendo servicio de reparacion al cual tienes derecho, mas nunca pediste un reemplazo o si?

    They might be sending back the package with a new iPod inside

    It sounds like nothing was found wrong with it, and returned to owner. You should have a detailed report with your package on what they did/didn't find.

    No pues.. En la pedida del servicio.. les dije lo que tenía.. no pedí remplazo ni nada.. Sólo que me lo arrglaran

    Hopefully :s

    I have never used the included apple earplugs... They're horrible...

    Although I tried with several headphones..
