I have an iPod touch 2g (out of warranty) that was dropped in water a while ago so the screen stopped responding. All of the internals seem to be working, except for the screen. Is this because of the digitizer? Is this something that I can fix? Is it worth fixing, and how much would it cost?

You TURNED IT ON as soon as it fell in? You should have turned it off and let it completely dry.

    A) this is a physical problem, a reboot won't solve anything
    B) it probably was, I'm trying to fix it for a friend
