    Hello all!
I am considering buying the new iHome IA5 iPod clock radio (LINK) but with this model it uses your iPod touch screen as the actual clock time display. My concern is that my iPod screen will be ON all the time. Should I worry about this? I figured like most displays it's bad to leave them on all the time, especially with a similar screen on all the time as well it might 'burn' my iPod pixels.

I hope I've explained my self well enough

i would stay away from it.

My friend has the same clock, and now like bottom third of his screen is permanently burned with the image of the clock.

Theres better clocks out there that don't cause damage to your ipod

iHome is generically good, but get one that uses its own display, not your ipods
