Please post your idea's or methods on removing scratches off the front and back of your iPod. do not post the "Banana Method" or buying Brasso. This topic is strictly for people that have other idea's & methods to remove scratches off your iPod ex. using household products!

Hmm...Well I don't know if it's true or not...So don't hold me liable if you try this..But I heard that toothpaste supposedly get's rid of visible scratches...It like fills in the scratches or something idk.

Anyways...I don't have a scratch but I do have this annoying like...I'd guess you call it crumb? or something like a little speck of something that's just freaking stuck on my screen...I've tried scratching it with my finger nail...Whipping it off with a wet cloth and nothing is getting this thing off...idk what it could be..

maybe use the green side of a sponge to make a "brushed" affect. this doesn't remove but makes them not visible

i used a dremel and put a cotton wheel attachment on it and buffered it with that blue buffering stuf for the back which gets ride of the scratches but then it leaves buffer marks so i buffered that out by hand and after 3 day (an hour a day with the cloth) its almost like new exept for like small corner scratches where the wheel couldn't get

I like applesauce iPod polish to get rid of scratches.

Toothpaste (paste, not gel) works because it is a mild abrasive that fills in the cracks, but can also cause more damage if pushed too hard.
