I know it meens to plug in itunes and restore... than a clicked restore... The restore started... "then I heared the sound like when you unplug something from the USB port" after "the sound when you plug it".... and the restore STOPED... it tells somethings like "An unknow error had stoped restore(6)" ( sorry its not exactly that... I'm french... I had just translate it )

SO I can't do anything with my ipod... i tried many many things to make the restore to work...

    PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks. ***Sorry for my mistakes, I speak French***

What have you tried to make the restore work? Have you tried dfu mode?

Put your iPod into DFU Mode and Shift Click Restore to the normal 2.2.1 firmware.

Download quickfreedom, run the pre jailbreak process up to where you get the white screen, now restore with itunes

its so simple put in DFU and shif+click restore to a Ipod Touch 2g firmware downloaded from the internet... if it doesnt work your putting in DFU wrong

ariarch yea i really do miss the 1.1.1 days, when they had all those great jailbroken apps and such.
