When I put my ipod on lock using the top button and wait a bit, I have to hard reboot the iPod to get it working again and it shows that the battery is only half charged even though I just charged it! Is this caused by the 1.1.4 jailbreak or is it something else? Any ideas?

Im on 1.1.4 and everything workd fine for me.Make sure when your ipod is in ''lock'' mode press the home button and you should go to the ''Slide to Unlock'' page.If that doesn't work then don't put it into ''lock'' mode anymore if it bothers you.

booting takes a lot of battery
    but it miscalculates
it should go back up to about 90% eventually

Ya but the thing is it doesn't! I'll have it fully charged then it'll refuse to come out of lock mode, forcing me to hard-reboot it. When it reboots, it tells me it's only half charged and actually only lasts about that long. My battery drains quickly after that. Weird, it's never done this to me before...
