iPod & Orange connection

    Hey guys.
    Such a silly stupid question, but I have to ask to ensure of. I have my mobile contract, free internet... So I was wondering if was possible for an iPod connects through my Orange Mobile Internet? Thanks

    Not unless your phone can tether the internet connection.

    doesnt. What about if u add a new Wi Fi connection definitions?

    Yes you can do this pretty easily.

    Jailbreak your iPod, install iBluever from Cydia.

    Link to your phone via bluetooth and away you go

    Can u help me then? I downloaded iBlueverDemo cos is free. I installed and then?

    Start iBluever and switch on the demon, and select your phone after the search has finished.

    This is the difficult part. You will need to enter the correct info for your phone/network. If you can tell me the make and model of the phone, and the network (Orange UK or Orange Eire for example) i'll see if i can help you out.

    Hi there.

    Well I have an issue... my iPod is 1G so means is no bluetooth. Is any other option?

    The only other way would be if you had a smart phone with WiFi and a compatable operating system. You can use your phone to create a WiFi hotspot which your iPod could connect to.
