I've seen YouTube videos of iPads installed into cars. Of corse I would not put an iPad in my car, but it would be cool to install a iPod touch in a car. Appearently bestbuy installs ipods onto cars for $50. Does anyone know someone who has done this?

Why not just buy a bunch of Velcro and Velcro it to your dashboard? Seems easier.

Are you talking about a fiberglass dash kit? They wouldn't do that for $50. I think it would just be easier to hold the iPod in your hand. An iPad would be cool though. Look up soundmancaraudio on YouTube, they sell iPad dash kits I believe. The iPad just slips in and out but looks factory when it's in.

I know I've seen it. It's so cool! If I had a luxury car I would have to get one

Lol I would get one in my Blazer if they weren't so expensive... But I would have to move my deck. I want to learn how to fiberglass.

I got a windshield mount for my iPod Touch and used it for a while as a GPS system, I also played music over my car speakers simultaneously.

I'd eventually like to get a legit dash mount for my iPad 2, and use that as a GPS/Music system once I replace my crap car.

How can I play my iPhone to my car speakers if I don't have a AUX input and a FM transmitter doesn't work.
