Well on the charger my iPod touch 2G touch screen acts very funny. The screen will not respond to the touch of my finger sometimes it will work slighty but other times I can't even unlock it. An example is that I touch it and it will zoom or shake on the screen please help.

If your using a dock to charge it, it could be something with the compatibility issues with the new iPod 2G. But, I'm not 100% sure on that. Does that happen every time you plug it in to charge it, or can you charge it on your computer and it's fine?

true, have you tried turning it completely off, then on? in the end you could always back up and restore, but nobody wants to do that now do they

I have this same problem, every time i plug my ipod in it acts goofy. It doesnt respond to my touch very and when i zoom in on a webpage it tweaks out.Im thinking it might have to do with the electricity going into the ipod and messing with the capacitve screen every time you touch it.

Well, you can try restoring your iPod and if that doesn't fix it I would return it if it's still under warranty. They should either be able to fix it or most likely give you a new one.
