iPod not restoring?

    I bricked my iTouch,put it into DFU,downloaded the update to restore,and then got an error.
    What can I do.

    Just click restore without shift clicking and it should restore and update to 4.0, then it will give you the option of chosing a saved back up.

    Here is what the error said
    "The iPod could not be restored as it is not of the required build"

    I can only think of the ipsw, but since you let iTunes download 4.0 for you I don't know what to say.. Is it iPod2,1_Restore bla bla?

    It didn't download 4.0,it downloaded 3.1.3 for some reason.
