Ipod not getting synced

    i connect my ipod via usb and nothing appears. i know its not the cable because ive tried it with 2 different ones, and when i use the wall adapter, it charges fine. im not sure if its the comp or itunes, what do i do?

    does your computer recognize it at all?

    it use to make a noise to identify "something" was connected, but itunes wouldnt recognize and the battery charging symbol wouldnt appear either. i would take it out of the comp and then plug it back a few times until it worked. now its failed to work at all.



    BTW im running windows vista

    hmm, try reinstalling itunes?

    what if it asks me too update to 9.1.1, then how am i supposed to use the userland JB??

    i got it to work, but only the second i remove it from the wall adapter and plug it into the comp, does the comp recognize it.

    go search on google for itunes 9 or 9.1, not 9.1.1

    9.1.1 is safe IMO, try different port, i'm guess that you're plugging it infront of the computer, try plugging it at the back if you're using a PC, front usb ports are slower

    No it's not. That's if you own a non-jailbroken iPod Touch / iPhone. If his iPhone/iPod Touch is jailbroken, stay away from iTunes 9.1.1 because it can detect userland jailbreaks and remove them.
