I know there is probably a really simple answer to this, and I may make myself look stupid.

Anyway, my iPod Touch on 3.0 (Jailbroken) is not backing up in iTunes 8.2.1.
It just says at the top "Backing up iPod..." for a couple of seconds then
it says "iPod Sync Complete". A backup would not be that short.
Would Safari Download Manager or YourTube be doing this?

    Any ideas?

That means its already been backed up.

Everytime you plug your iPod in, it backs up.
If you didnt make that much changes, when you plug it in, it will start backing up (normally) but then realize you havnt made any changes, then complete the backup.

If theres not much to backup, the backup wont take long.

You can make sure by right clicking your iPod and clicking Back Up

Like the nice person above me already stated, the iPod automatically makes a backup everytime you sync it. There's no need to worry.

Great, thanks a lot for the help. Especially iAppleCentral for helping me with this, and another question I had.
