So my iPod doesn't turn on.
i know what you guys are thinking...
put it in DFU mode and restore...
    but i can't!
i connect it to my computer and nothing!
not even an "usb not recognized" sign pops out..
i know how to put my iPod in DFU mode and Recovery mode as i have done it more than enough times.
    I don't consider myself a n00b but i really can't figure this one out.
If anyone is willing to HELP and not say unnecessary things like use the search link [cause i did] and such i would really appreciate it..

    -Thanks in advance! =]

Plug it in, put it into DFU Mode, and see if iTunes recognizes it.

I get into DFU mode by holding the Home And sleep buttons together for 10 seconds, then realesing the sleep button and keep holding the home button for another 8 seconds..
i have done this many times already and nothing...

Just keep holding home after you let go of sleep. Try that.

It might be battery dead... leave it plugged in for awhile (it should still charge even tho you dont see it) and then try it.

Yes, that might be right. I had the same problem a few weeks ago.

Or just hold power for a few seconds. That'll "activate" the booting of the iPod. Then DFU.
