I have asked everywhere. I need help. I press the lock button on the top, and nothing happens. This ISNT hardware. The button works, the script doesn't run. I don't want to hear "just restore" because my music (1,348) is now irreplacable in any legal way. I can still take screen shots and restart and power down, but I can't lock the screen. A little help finding the files to replace or a patch that will fix this would be nice.

Or you can use the auto lock option in settings. You just have to wait 1 min minimum before it locks

I have already tried autolock... The only time I can see my lockscreen is when I am syncing.

Oh, and no I can't sync the music, I told you I didn't want to hear the "just restore" cr*p. If there was an easy way I would have found it. I started playing with jailbreaks at 2.0.x so I know what I'm doing. A restore will get rid of all my music, and a sync won't save any of it because it wasn't my iTunes.

You could use iFunBox to upload your music back to your computer. Then restore. It might be a pain, but its easy enough to do. I have done this in the past.

Use Sharepod to get the music onto your computer.
