iPod nano "confirmed" to run new OS

    Are you referring for the iOS 4 features?
    No. I'm just curios on whether or not it runs a version of iOS similar to the iPad.
    Of course it wouldn't have iOS 4 features though.
    It has an OS but not the same features though.

    Yeah I've always been suspicious of whether they are bots or actual people.

    I got him like 4 times in a row and he never remembered me even though i was asking the same question.

    WELL DUH it's running a new OS! It's not like Apple developed this OS like 10 years ago just waiting to put it on a touchscreen iPod. Whether or not it's a "new OS" however doesn't answer the question of what OS it's based on. It could be a "new" OS based on the iPod one, or the iPhone one. Personally, I really believe they developed it from the iPod firmware, then ported the multitouch code.

    On another note, I bet they're both bots and humans. Like the welcoming and saying goodbye, and possibly figuring out what category your question goes into is left to bots, while humans handle the rest.
