ipod nano 3rd gen HELP!

    i keep hearing static through every headphone i use with my ipod. i've tried restoring it and everything but nothing is working. any ideas and suggestions?

    probably it's the headphone jack itself, just open it and replace. or send it to apple to repair.

    Static means that there is signal interference/jitter/electrical noise; most usually the latter. This means that either the copper wiring of your earphone cable or jack is damaged, or your iPod's socket is broken. In most cases, just try plugging in a different earphone (from your pc, etc.) and try if it's still static. If it still is, contact your local Apple vendor.
