The iPod Nano 2G firmware has been decrypted. Code and programs can be ran to the iPod though an Exploit called the "Notes Exploit". The firmware decryption is by a person named TheSeven. Code can be ran untethered and wirelessly

Right now an alternate OS called rockbox can be ran but it's still is being worked on. Rockbox needs the drivers to full work on the 2G.

Offical Updates are from the linux4nano team.

This will bring back iPod hacking. When it used to had it's popularity in 2007. Go dig up you iPods and go hack them

iPH is still alive? Last I saw it was dead. Its a pity, I preferred it to ipodwizard

Still, a tethered 2G is better than no 2G, even if the old iPod hacking has died down alot recently

Maybe this will help expand iPodWizard and give modding to another tiny fraction of the masses...

@Bobby, Tyler and others have gotten it back up. Given the site rules, I can't link you to it, sorry.
