Hey guys, I know this isnt the right forum, but there doesnt seem to be one for older ipods and apple products.

Anyway, my ipod nano which is a first generation simply wont turn off. It just drains the battery until it dies. Ive tried resetting it and its had no effect.
So if someone knows a fix, that would be brilliant!

    Thanks

This would be the right section: Other iPod Models

Anyways, about your problem, is it a big problem if your iPod Nano doesn't turn off? Personally, I never turn my iPod Touch off and I've never had any problems. And if you're actually trying to save battery by turning it off, then you should know that turning your iPod on and off uses more battery than just leaving it on (not playing music of course).

    Opps, sorry!
I know that battery on an iTouch is brilliant so I leave it on all the time but my nano's battery is shockingly bad and I would end up having to re-charge it everyday which is a pain.
    Thanks anyway.

Maybe you could try restoring, it might not change anything, but you might as well try.
