I have no clue where my iPod touch is. It's been missing for about a month now, and I recently got an email saying that Find My iPhone has "played a sound on the iPod 'Cuthbert Junior VIV'. I name all of my iPods, iPads, and Apple devices Cuthbert XXXX XXX, so this can get quite confusing. Anyway, I got that email, and then I went into the Find My iPhone app on my iPhone. The iPod came up on the map as being at my house. When I got home, I went to my computer to have it play another sound on the iPod, but on iCloud.com, it's not on my list of devices. I've attached pictures of the email and of the device list from my computer. Please help! I have no clue where this thing is! *Yes, I'm aware that Cuthbert Junior VIV does not have proper roman numeral order.
Find My iPod basically never works for me (in testing, I haven't actually lost it (yet)). It is quite concerning.
so if its in your house then its connected to your wifi? make sure by going to your routers page (usually 192.168.0.1) and make sure that its connected. also, i havent seen you in a while
Since it shows up in the app on your iPhone, can't you beep it from there? Better hurry before the battery dies. I've used Find My iPhone lots of times. I lose my phone around the house, play a sound from the app, and usually I find it stuck in the couch.
Ich hab es gefunden, aber the data usage is a little incorrect... And also, it WASN'T plugged in. At all. That thing must have magic powers, or RIDICULOUS standby time.
