So, I had my iPod jailbroken, and I did that a long time ago, but today was the first time I had a problem. While at work, it started to open programs and start music on its own, and the only way to stop it was to lock it. When I got home, I restored it. Twice. Now, it's going through the sounds that I can wake up to as an alarm. I have a 2G 16GB Touch running 3.0... Any help, please?

Restore and don't jailbreak it for a while, it maybe your firmware problem.
If the firmware works fine, use another programe to jailbreak your IPT (I'm using Redsn0w now).

I didn't rejailbreak it. It's doing it even on factory settings, right after I restore it. I'm going to downgrade to 2.2.1 and see if it has something to do with 3.0

    Edit:
Just kidding, that had no effect. It's still happening.

If restoring it didn't work, maybe it's a problem with the touchscreen, and it's picking up touches when you aren't actually touching it, causing it to open stuff up? You should probably return it if it's still under warranty

Your iPod's touchscreen is definitely having some problem, resulting in it becoming super-sensitive... Like what some forumers mentioned above, I suggest for you to send your unit to Apple for a warranty claim (usually takes several days, they may exchange your faulty iPod with a new one)...

Well, I just pulled it out to listen to some music. When I did, it just started doing it. I'll try to send it in.

Now is not the time for laughing. Now is the time for fixing, damn it.
