you mean it has the spinning wheel of death, try deleting the last thing you used/ installed via ssh

^ SBSettings for 3.0? From Cydia itself.

Your question is a little unclear to be honest. It appears you already have SBSettings & want it at the same time!

No i think i downloaded SB for 2.x
When i downloaded it from Cydia it asked me to Restart SpringBoard.. i pressed that button and the you have it (continuous respring that is) Normaly respring is like 10sec or so... this time it was 10min+

P.s. i just upgraded from 2.2.1 so i dont know what to do and what not to do on 3.0

I have the 3.0 software and I tried restoring apps from cydia with the app backup thing and now my ipod's stuck in a continuous cycle of rebooting. I'm restoring it now, but is there any way to prevent this from happening again? I'm leaving on a 3 week trip tonight and I really don't want to have problems like this

you could always just go virgin for three weeks, that would eliminate all your iPod problems

not that i'm saying that's a viable idea

just it would eliminate your'e problems

Lucky! for me it was hours! (the only reason I think it stopped is because the battery died)

Don't use app backup! I manually backup my Cydia apps using WinSCP. It takes a little longer but it is safer. Backup your files on a BIG Flash Drive or Hard Drive and take it with you.
