Alright, so I just got back from visiting family, while there I was EATEN ALIVE by mosquitos. So I have bites everywhere, so I got some rubbing alcohol. Upon sitting down the alcohol spilled completely over the iPod Touch. Thinking quick! I grabbed a towel and cleaned as much as I could off. The iPod turns on fine and everything, I don't want to plug it into my PC until I know it's safe to do so. Anyways, my screen currently has some weird markings on it, as if the alcohol were behind the glass itself. Now I know Rubbing alcohol dries fast, so I'm wondering, is this permanent? I sure hope not. I love my iPod.

i'd put it in a bag of rice, sucks up the moisture like a boss.

Alcohol evaporates really quickly so you might have gotten lucky.

It seems like it's drying D: I just ran a bunch of 3D games hoping that'd do something
