My Ipod 1st gen after playing games and music for about 30 min starts to get pretty hot near the bottom. Its probably normal, but i was wondering if its bad for it? And if there are any solutions that don't involve opening it up.

Well, its doing processes, causing your device to warm up. Fixes? Nothing to fix

It's perfectly normal; the processor just gives off a little heat after a while. To prevent this, give it a break every now and again.

Yeah, it feels really hot, but it isn't as hot as it seems.
Makes a nice hand warmer in winter.

you should "accidentally" burn your hand and say that the ipod did it and sue Apple.

I think Apple has really good lawyers. They could probably figure that out REAL fast.
