I have recently jailbroken 1.1.4 using ZiPhone 2.6b

All seemed to work fine... After it was done, I installed the application compatability and then added the full features set from iSpazio..

The problem is, when using the iPhone apps the iPod will freeze and I have to do a hard reset to get it back... Also happens when using safari...

I've just noticed it seems to be happening when I try quit to the home screen.. Also happens sometimes when I use the keyboard even though I read and followed all the steps that were supposed to fix this...

Can anyone help with this, any help would be much apprectiated!

have fun trying to get that fix, i've posted many times about that issue, and only get replies from others that also have the problem, but no replies from people that can fix it.

I am afraid you are going to have do the jailbreak with ziphone one more time.
The minute you use your 1.1.4 iPod go into your contacts app. Type in any name and then cancel out twice before hitting the home button( this is to warm up the keyboard first). After this go into installer, install bsd subsystem, exit out. Then comes make or break time. Go into installer and try type in say for instance ipodtouchmasters repo. This worked for me on ziphone 2.5 so I have used it for ever since when jailbreaking on ziphine 2.6. Good luck

I have been battling this issue for a while.

You may not have ziphoned on a FRESH 1.1.4

    or, whatever your reason is...

    Heres the magic fix.

Dont ask me why, dont tell me its pointless, dont tell me it doesnt matter. That goes for everyone.

THIS METHOD WORKED FOR ME. FIRST TIME!

    Heres how.

    Follow this to the letter!!!
    Downgrade to 1.1.1
head over to jailbreakme.com and install appsnap. (installer)
    Install BSD Subsystem.
    Reboot. Manually.

Enter DFU mode. (Recovery) by holding down home and sleep and when it reboots, just leave home held for 30 seconds or so.

    UPDATE to 1.1.4 (Not Restore)

As soon as thats updated, you are on a totally fresh 1.1.4.

YOU HAVE TO DO ALL THESE STEPS!!

Then run ZiPhone and try it again.

Coming from a JB 1.1.1 seems to fix the problem. Dont ask why...

    Good luck,

    Faktor
