hey i found a way to fix it but it does take a while, but definently works.
    1. First go to the tech forum on the main forum paige and go to firmware.links.
    2. Download firmware for 1.1.3, 1.1.2, and finally 1.1.4
    3. Once done you must force you ipod into recovery mode.
    1. Plug in ipod into computer
    2. Hold down the home and wake/sleep button until the screen goes black and nothing else
    3. once the screen goes black only release the sleep/wake button but not the home button.
    4. Hold the home button until the ipod shows up in itunes.
    5. Now shift+click restore, that way you documents show up.
    6. Go to the folder that you downloaded the firmwares to.
    7. Chose 1.1.3 and then open.
    8. If you did everything right the ipod should restore but go to firmware 1.1.3
    4. YOU MUST DO THIS FOR ALL FIRMWARES- MEANING GO FROM 1.1.4 TO 1.1.3, FROM 1.1.3 TO 1.1.2, AND FINALLY 1.1.2 TO 1.1.1.
You must repeat the above steps for each one remember. Yes it does take a while but now you can jailbreak your ipod.
    HOPE THIS HELPED

The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.

delete itunes library.itl, search it on your computer then restart itunes 7.5 it will create a new library and youll have to reimport your songs,
