iPod disabled ???

    came home today and plugged in my ipod and synced with itunes, disconnected it after it finished and it just said iPod Disabled Please try again in 60 minutes

    i DONT have a passcode or anything set and when the 60mins is up it resets to 60 minutes again, tryed turning it off and on and still disabled. what might be casuing this

    Your probably on 2.0. I heard 2.0 expired today...maybe that is what you are experiencing.

    Odd, just wait an hour and see, don't mess around with it or it might get extended to 2 hours or longer...

    i heard there is a file you can edit which will enable it again...

    i think it was changing something from false to true

    i am on 1.1.4 not 2.0 so thast ruled out, its no ever been jailbroken so no files have been altered and everytime the timer reaches 0minutes it starts again right away at 60minutes

    well, if you're not jailbroken and you don't think you did anything that might have caused it, i would just restore and if that doesn't work, go to the apple store and ask someone there.

    if you aren't jailbroken, restore and it's a simple re-sync to get back all of your pics/videos/music......
