Ipod Could Not Be Restored Unknown Error Has Occured (2)

    I get this whenever I try to restore my ipod touch to 3.0...I downloaded the firmware and shift click restore, then so far through it gives me this error.

    Theres a huge warning at the top of the page for new users.
    Its his fault, I dont go soft.

    He can obviously read, since he read guides about how to pirate firmware. o_o

    I did not know that was because of it...am downloading the legal version through iTunes as of now...if it will even start.

    I dont see why it wouldnt, seeing as though you DOWNLOADED the 3.0 firmware succesfully..

    The download through iTunes isn't starting I mean. Unless it just doesn't show progress or anything with updates?

    Did you DFU restore?
    or just shift clicked restore?

    I put my ipod into DFU then plugged in, pop came up with ipod i clicked restore and then it started the download for 3.0 which isn't downloading at all.

    If the download started, on the left menu panel in iTunes, you should see a Downloads button. Click it, and it will show your progress.

    Youre great, but you posted misleading information.
    That had nothing to do with what we were talking about.
