I'm trying to update/restore to 3.0 from 2.2 on my iPod Touch 1G and it's giving me this error iPod could not be restored (10).

    Using iPod1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw.

    Any help?

EDIT: Now it gives me iPod could not be restored (13).

where did you get a restore ipsw if you haven't updated?

IF, you have already bought it why not DFU+Restore to 2.1 and update straight through itunes without .ipsw. Also, (if you bought it) it won't charge you because it stays in the purchase history, so you have nothing to fear.

Oh and are you trying to upgrade from a jailbroken ipod? DO NOT DO THAT!

Follow this if you are planning to upgrade and are jailbroken.
