iOS 3.1 ipod connect w/o wifi

    Does anyone know how to connect the ipod touch 2nd gen to the computer without having a router or access to WiFi? thanks

    Anyway, unfourtunately no. Even with a jailbroken iPod you still cant. You would think some dev would make something like this so you could.

    If I can't find that tutorial, you could always go to a cafe and install iFile.

    Then, when you get back home and don't have internet access, you can use iPhoneFolders to manually add .deb files to your iPod Touch, and use iFile to install them.

    Oh, I remember that thread. Actually you still needed wifi for that. And yes you could get iFile and manually add the .deb files.
