    Hi

I know you read the title and though "Oh gawwd," well it's not that bad..

    Anyways...

    The question:
How can I (easily) clean the little crevice between the silver edge and the black front of the iPod? I have a screen protector if that helps.

Dirt and other "debris" get caught in there and it is driving me insane. And yes, I am dust-in-the-ipod-paranoid

Just a side question that I would prefer to be answered:
Is there a jailbreak for the ipod nano 2Gen? Image of 2G:

To answer your first question; I'd suggest one of those "condensed-air" keyboard cleaners.

    Something like this:

Be sure not to hold the canister too close to the iPod, a few inches away will do.

Not sure about the Nano, tough.

Is there any way I can do it with out an air canister? Like some kind of inexpensive tool I can find around the house that won't scratch my iPod and give me a heart attack?

Not without the risk of scratching it. I think the air canister is your best bet too.

I just fold a piece small of paper to get a pointed edge, and run it through the gap. It usually ges out most dust etc... and then if needed an air cannister.

Well atleast my iPod isn't lying somewhere under my bed with a failed-to-completely-remove apple sticker on the back. I found my friends' iPod like that and it made me shudder. It still works though.

And how can your iPod never get dirty (if you use it)?

I have a case on mine; I'm sure dust goes in there, but my case is never off for long enough for me to care. How long have you had your iPod? I was truly anal about it for about 3 months. I still don't let other people hold it except my best friend and my father.

If you're truly concerned with your iPod looking good get a case. My iPod's back doesn't look like a warzone since I got my case, and I also have a screen protector. Protects everthing really well.
