well i just turned on my ipod and i've lost all my music :S i dn't know why. but it still comes up with that i've used up the space so the music is still there but it isn't being displayed. Same in itunes. says its there but doesn't show up.

Instead of commin up as music it comes under "others"

i've tried to rest the ipod by pressing menu and click wheel but still after that it didn't work.

    anybody know whats going on?

Plug it into the computer and let it sit for a few minutes. If it comes up in iTunes then restore it and your iPod will be good as new.

If not take it to Apple.

happened to my Touch, after I'd plugged in my mates iPod to put some of my music on it. I think it was iTunes just being annoyingly clever as far as copyright goes. But silly at the same time, as a restore set it all right.

But yeah, I think that's the one cure for it.

You should try downloading bosstools, and then go to the ipod wiper opyion, it deltes all of your media, but keeps all your settings and apps, then try re-syncing with itunes.

That's not what's wrong, the OP said that the iPod's music won't show up, it's under "other," which is usually just the firmware, I haven't really explored the Classic yet, so unfortunately I can't help you. I suggest just restoring.

You might just need to replace the battery it may have just worn out.
