Just recently my iPod has stopped registering that it is being charged..
The battery will not be on the lockscreen and the right hand battery meter does not show it.

It does charge, it does sync but it doesnt show that its being charged.

    Any ideas why?

Only things I've installed recently are YourTube and BossPaper (now uninstalled).

Something might have happened to the files that load up your battery-charge level.... a nice little restore could fix that, but make sure you back up!

p.s. if your fairly smart with an SSH ((openssh)) and something like WinSCP, you can go in and find your precious little icons that display batter power and see if they are ok... otherwise i restore should fix it.

Check that SBHideACPower is not "True" in /User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist. It can be set with Supreme Preferences(S).

    The answer is SP3.
I must have accidentally turned the hide battery elements switch.

    Yes, I am an idiot.
