I think my I pod is bricked.

This is what happened: I was downloading apps yesterday from the app store with my J.B i pod touch 2G with 3.0. I had left it on the charger at night and went to sleep. When I woke up, my i pod was unresponsive and was "Dead".
I couldn't restore it or anything in I tunes, I Tried D.F.U mode and that didn't work. it did this before when I was on a 2.2.1 J.B and earlier in my first month with my 3.0 jailbreak, But I think this is it.

    I need help, somebody.

I dont think its bricked ... the only way to brick an ipod and other device is to mess up the files in it and i dont think you did that.
Try to dfu it again... and connect it to itunes see if itunes reconize it

I tried D.F.U.ing it like 5 times now. I think it might be a battery problem...

    I don't know...

Plug it in and let it charge for a while at your computer or something. Then do DFU right.

and btw its impossible to "brick" an iDevice unless you actually throw a brick at it.
