I charge my battery night when i go to sleep. Recently it compleatly died to where my ipod shut off. Now when i charge it, the green on the big battery will stay in the same place as when i plugged it on for chargin, and woll only change when i unplug it and plug it back in and some times that doesnt even work. What has worked more is blowing in the bottom of the ipd where the wire g oes. Ive tried switching the battery image in customize but it still stays in the same place. Has any one else had thos problem?!

Also that time it compleatly died i plugged it in over noght and the next day, the battery was still empty, but it still said it was charging

the iPods battery does not fully recharge after about 400 cycles. If you're under warranty, get it replaced.

Try charging your iPod for a day, then start playing music (turn off wifi) and see how long it lasts. Under 10 hours it will be replaced no question.

reset to default settings ( look in settings app).
if that doesn't work restore to 1.1.1/1.1.2 (don't jailbreak)
    if it works then jailbreak
if that doesn't work restore again and return to Apple.
