My ipod audio jack thing has become enlarged or something weird like that and all audio devices only work out of one side (1 side of speakers or 1 headphone doesnt work) unless i push down on the cord. Is their anyway to fix this without buying new parts?

    Ipod 2g if that matters

The soldering joints probably broken or something stuck in there.

Bring your iPod into bestbuy, test it out on thier speakers, or buy some cheap earbuds to make sure it's not just the ear phones/speakers your using. Otherwise if your within waranty bring it to apple or send it in to be relaced/repaired.
