    Put it in the dryer to speed up the recovery process, then restore.

    lol yeah give it to the apple genius they will see that they can't do anything about it and they will give you a new ipod

    it will eventually die though
    my nano worked fine for about a month after going through the wash then it died
    cause the silicon board is like a sponge (so says the apple genius employee)

    The issue if fixed and the ipod is back to normal. I don't think much tea got into the botton because it does not stick like it would if the tea dried in there.
