    Sick of your Music & Video icon? Want just one? Follow the guide:

    info.plist <-- Rename file to Info.plist

    Firstly load up your FTP client winscp was my choice

    Step 1: Navigate to /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app

    upload the Info.plist file provided if you want back up the current one and rename to Info.old

    Step 2: Now go to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

    open up N45AP.plist

    search for com.apple.mobileipod-AudioPlayer replace with com.apple.mobileipod-MediaPlayer

    Step 3:

    also in N45AP.plist

    search for

    <key>special</key>
    <array>

    in that array add the following before <dict>

    <dict>
    <key>displayIdentifier</key>
    <string>com.apple.mobileipod-AudioPlayer</string>
    </dict>
    <dict>
    <key>displayIdentifier</key>
    <string>com.apple.mobileipod-VideoPlayer</string>
    </dict>

    save N45AP.plist and upload it

    Step 4: Reboot iPod & check out your awesome work!

    **If you're using SummerBoard add iPod.png to the Icons folder**

    results may vary

    When you install the 'Dock' application, there is an entry, named 'iPod' and it works exactly like that, but if you just want one iPod icon, your thread is great

    Is this compatible with Customize? I'm wondering if you made a typo, when you say in Step#2 to change ...mobileipod-AudioPlayer replace with com.apple.mobileipod-MediaPlayer, in which section of the plist did you have this entry, because mine was already modified. I had `iPod` show up in Customize/rSBT but it has no icon associated and so forth does not appear on the Summerboard dock
