There were certain (and honestly, IMO well fundamented) rumors that Apple would cut off its iPod Touch line. This just comes to confirm that it's not true.

I doubt it's going to be a huge change.
I'm not going to upgrade until the 6th Gen comes out.

My guesses are that the internal specs like ram and the processor are going to be big
    but not the design

I plan on getting the 5th gen when it comes out to replace my 2nd gen, so I can't wait to see what upgrades its going to have.

On a side note, someone needs to teach ih8micros0ft how to use the "edit" button.

I want to get the iPhone 5 because I want the rumor that they will get rid of the iPod touch line to sell the unlocked iPhone 5 cheaper to be true, ha.

BTW, Thanks for sigging my bacon!

I don't know that much about iPhone and iPad, but what would be the latest version number for them?

My biggest wish for the new one is for it to have 128 gig drive. My 64 gig unit is about 20 gig short of what I need. If I don't see that drive in the 5th gen itouch--I'll buy a a classic.

I happen to think maybe iPod touch 4,2 is going to be a prototype only model like iPod 2,2 I mean if there is going to be a 5 it would have said iPod 5,1 and 5,2 (if a 3G version was coming)

    More ways to AirPlay.

Get even more play out of AirPlay — the wireless technology that lets you stream content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your HDTV via Apple TV.1 In addition to music, movies, and photos, AirPlay now streams video from your Photos app. So you can shoot a home video and instantly share it with everyone in the room. Even AirPlay-enabled apps and websites get the big-screen treatment with iOS 4.3. And if your photos are the feature presentation, you can play a slideshow with all the stunning themes available on Apple TV.
