There were certain (and honestly, IMO well fundamented) rumors that Apple would cut off its iPod Touch line. This just comes to confirm that it's not true.
My guesses are that the internal specs like ram and the processor are going to be big but not the design
I plan on getting the 5th gen when it comes out to replace my 2nd gen, so I can't wait to see what upgrades its going to have. On a side note, someone needs to teach ih8micros0ft how to use the "edit" button.
I want to get the iPhone 5 because I want the rumor that they will get rid of the iPod touch line to sell the unlocked iPhone 5 cheaper to be true, ha. BTW, Thanks for sigging my bacon!
My biggest wish for the new one is for it to have 128 gig drive. My 64 gig unit is about 20 gig short of what I need. If I don't see that drive in the 5th gen itouch--I'll buy a a classic.
I happen to think maybe iPod touch 4,2 is going to be a prototype only model like iPod 2,2 I mean if there is going to be a 5 it would have said iPod 5,1 and 5,2 (if a 3G version was coming)
