    Hi all

I just got my Ipod Touch 32 gig 3rd gen today for Christmas.

I'm having one BIG problem with it. I can not for whatever reason get Wifi to work on this thing! It shows full signal but when I go to connect to any page it just sits there. I even tried the DNS trick and typed in the ditrect IP address rather than the Domain name and still no go.

I read hours of info on the internet and tried all sorts of fixes with no luck.

I'm using a At&t 2wire router with default settings. And yes I typed that number in on the sticker

    . Still no go.

I even did a full restore from Itunes and still nothing.
And I cannot get a new Firmware for my router cause it keeps telling me I have the latest firmware allready.

    Please help

    Thanks

Is the IP for the iPod showing up as 169.x.x.x? If so this means DHCP isn't giving your iPod an IP address, meaning you have to manually assign it an IP.

The only thing I can think of is try another router and if that fails. Bring this thing back to the store for a new one.

It could be your router, which I doubt because your using it right now. I'm out of ideas that make sense to me.

I had a laptop here the other day I was fixing for a friend and I was able to connect with that using wireless so I know it works. I would hate to think I got a Dude Ipod but it makes no sense. Cause like I said it shows full signal and even asked for the crypted password before connecting. But it does not go anywhere.
