I have paired my iPod with a couple of bluetooth devices. Is there anyway I can get it to automatically connect rather than keep having to do it manually.

    Great piece of kit

if you leave bluetooth on i believe it does it automatically when you come in range of your device previously paired

Mine does not seem to do this. In the settings bluetooth is on but in order to connect I have to go to bluetooth and double click on the device.

    Thanks for your response

Sorry, but no. Apple has not put all that much effort into bluetooth on the iPod Touch.
It has minimal features, and does not work all that great.

If more people were to show interest in bluetooth and needed functions, apple "might" put some effort into making the firmware better support bluetooth features.

At £229 a pop (32gb) I think that this s/b standard. I have a phone that does what I am asking here. I love the Ipod but am a little dissapointed with this.

Don't worry, so am I. Not the same, but I would welcome auto connect.
I want to be able to transfer photos between my regular phone and iPod Touch.

Won't be possible until Apple allows it.
