I read a little bit about blackrain but some people says everytime you turn off you have to reinstall the application, which is quit annoying..

I also read some of you say "is it MC it works is it not it wont", whats MC? How can I check if its "MC" or Not

Well, if you're 100% positive that it's a 3G, then you'll have that 'annoying' part. Anyways, to explain a bit, if you have an iPod Touch 3G, you will have a 'tethered' jailbreak. Meaning, whenever you turn off, reboot, or your iPod dies, you'll need to run blackra1n and rejailbreak it. But there won't be any loss of data so it's not that bad. And about the jailbreaking process, it's really simple, plug in your iPod, run blackra1n, and press 'make it ra1n' which is the only button in the program. So it shouldn't be too hard.

But lets say I have some apps on it for them to work you have to have it jailbroken right? Because I mean lets say I am somewhere and it dies, can I start my apps anyway or do I have to jailbrake it again to make the apps work?

Okay well, first off, the discussion of piracy is against forum rules, so be careful

And yea, that's the only inconvenient part, if it dies, you won't be able to use it until you jailbreak it again.

Why do you want to jailbreak? What specific functionality are you looking to add?

Well, if you want to jailbreak your iPod just for piracy, then you shouldn't even deserve to jailbreak. Pay for your apps.

    Well, then.

Exactly as UI said, is it worth it to screw some developer who spent time, and effort, making an app?

    No.

It isn't right; and I doubt anyone on here will help you much.

Funny how all of you say you dont support piracy and all that, but what the difference between owning a pod and downloading software on it, and then downloading mp3 and movies to your computer
