A few weeks ago, I jailbroke my iPod touch 2G (on the tethered way). Everything was fine until I found out this week that the untethered jailbreak was released (I have a Windows and I'm not an expert, so I had to wait for a tutorial to be released). In order to jailbreak the device again, I had to restore it to the factory conditions. When I tried to do this through iTunes, there was an error and it couldn't be restored. The worst part of it is that the iPod turned off and it won't turn on again. Besides, the Windows no longer recognizes it as an iPod, but as an unknown device. Can someone plz tell me what to do??

You dont have to put your ipod back to stock to rejailbreak. You need to put your ipod in DFU Mode. google it if you dont know. then download quickfreedom and jailbreak it.
