Your IP address may have changed, or you may not be connected to the network. Check all of your fields in Fugu

first of all, only use FileZilla or WinSCP...

    now then...

reinstall openSSH, make sure user is "root" and pass is "alpine

also make sure port is "22" (SFTP)

also check your IP address in settings

keep trying if it doesn't work the first few times

I am having this same problem, even after I reinstalled openssh, and I am using WinSCP. It may be a new 2.0.1 patch, since these are the first problems I am having with SSH.

2.0.1 has some sort of bug with WinSPC. completely remove WinSPC and all components and dada ext. Then reinstall and should work

I found a solution on another website.

"Go into your user folder and hit CMD + Shift + G and type ".ssh". Delete the known hosts file. Next time you ssh on your phone it will query you if its ok."

firstly dont winscp it isnt a very good client. use filezilla instead.
secondly that method is for macs only.
he is talking about removing the known hosts file which basicly is a list of the mac addresses of all devices you have ssh'd to before which is supposed to make it more secure and faster. it is just confusing it though because your ipod has the same ip and port as before but a different mac address.
dont bother removing the file, filezilla will create a new one.
